A place for teachers to feel supported and heard. A place where you can come to share your struggles and learn how to create balance and make sustainable changes in your life.

If you’re left feeling burnt out by the end of each term, you’re not the only one. The good news is, there’s a way to prevent it happening and create the long-term balance you so desperately need.

Teaching is an extreme sport, it’s certainly not for the faint hearted. We do it because we love it, it’s our passion and the intrinsic rewards of watching a child delight in their learning and discovery makes it all worth it. But it’s also A LOT.

So come and join us at this Teachers day Retreat! we would love to take care of you.

Relax and Restore.

Beth from Bethany Hearn Yoga will be onsite for a glorious 90 minute relaxing restorative yoga session (not hard holding kind of yoga but deep relaxation!) 

Reflect.

We will also have lots of time for guided reflections, with a focus on Mindful Self Compassion. The aim is for you to be able to allow yourself to slow down and recover over the holiday break and set intentions for term 3. This is a time for you to connect with yourself, and other educators, and get really clear on what you might need to feel supported in your role as an educator, but more importantly as a human, as you move towards the second half of 2023.

Nourish

A nourishing lunch will be provided; as well as tea, coffee, yoga mats, blankets etc. 

NB. this is not JUST for teachers, if you are a human and you are tired, you are welcome!
