Here is a great opportunity to take a break from your regular weekend routine, to getaway and explore breath and movement, to meet like minded souls and create new connections, to enjoy stunning, fresh vegan meals and to find the rest when you need.
Meet our Hosts:
This weekend we have three amazing facilitators to guide you. All three are representatives of Kanuka Yoga Space, and equally have created their own spaces and brands on their own which we love to promote!
Tanija Luke - has been running Te Atatu Yoga & Pilates for the last 5 years
Megan Blennerhassett
Megan Blennerhassett has nearly 20 years teaching experience across many styles and audiences, sharing the yoga of healing and connection from kids to seniors, chair yoga to rehabilitation centres along with studio classes, private 1:1s and her own business. She is trained in traditional yoga completing a 900HR Diploma. She is a certified Ayurvedic Dietician and Lifestyle Counsellor, and is certified in (Western) Nutrition. She is passionate about helping students understand the yoga system and, through practice, gain Self Knowledge and the peace and love that comes through that.
Stu Larsen
Stu is the co-creator of Kanuka Yoga Space and is a certified 200HR Yoga Instructor through John & Nicole Allen's Yoga Teacher Training School in Auckland; a modern, trauma-sensitive lense on traditional yoga and philosophy. He has continued his Yoga training with Inspire Yoga, completing a further 100HRs (towards his 300HR) in bio-mechanics, functional movement, and yoga philosophy.
He is a full-time musician and right now spends most of his time playing live, one-man-band style shows around Auckland (and abroad), most recently spending two months playing live and surfing waves in Indonesia.
Take a deep dive into the practice of yoga and meditation at Kula Studio and Homestead in Muriwai; overlooking New Zealand's wild West Coast.
Take-in the natural surroundings, invest time into your yoga asana (physical practice), learn more about yoga philosophy and mindful meditation, partake in ceremony with cacao and mantra, join sauna and ice bath, enjoy the delicious vegan menu from our onsite chef and connect with the other amazing humans around you.
